Dating sites and other things

I haven't really updated in a while because nothing major has been going on. Let's see, what has been going on?

-I got turned down for health insurance because I'm 42 pounds over the max they will allow to insure. Never mind the fact that I've lost 24 pounds since October and I'm still working hard to shed another 90, they won't insure me unless I'm below 206. I'm hoping that I'll be able to hit that mark within 4 months. I'm going to be becoming even more strict with the foods I eat and try to make it to the gym no less than 3 days a week.
-I joined eHarmony on a whim, and the site is truly awful. I paid $39 for 3 months of service (not $39 a month, $39 for 3 months together), they were running a special and they happened to email me with this information when I had decided to give up on the site. I met one guy on there and we talked for about a day after he sent me something like 70+ text messages while I was at one of Christian's (nephew) baseball games. A bit much, but whatever. You live, you learn. This guy had told me he had no desire to ever get married again, being divorced. The other major bombshell he dropped on me was "oh by the way, I cheated on my last serious girlfriend." So after we got off the phone that night, I logged onto eHarmony and wrote him to politely tell him I had no interest in a romantic future with him. I'd be constantly worried he was cheating on me.
-This prompted me to sign back up on another dating site named OkCupid, mostly for laughs because a lot of users on there are highly amusing (by that I mean ridiculous). I've been on and off this site since I was 18 years old, back when it was called "SparkMatch." The site is free, so what do I have to lose, right? So far I've gone on one date (Steve), I was supposed to have another tonight but the guy had to cancel and rescheduled for Tuesday (Dan, and I'm okay with that, he's from San Francisco!), may have another date getting lined up (Eddie), and potentially another date...but that will probably just be to see Transformers 2 (Michael). All 4 guys seem interesting enough, and meeting people online, you have to meet them offline to understand if there's any actual chemistry in person. Normally I wouldn't be one to date multiple guys at a time, but in order to know if there's chemistry, you HAVE to meet in person! I'm the most interested in Dan despite the distance, and second place is tied with Steve and Michael. We'll see how all of that goes. A quick bit of info on each? Sure!
--Dan: 29, British, Lawyer, San Francisco, 6'3".
--Steve: 24, White, Pelco, Madera Ranchos, 6'3".
--Eddie: 22, Black, CSUF credential program student, Clovis, 6'3".
--Michael: 23, Chinese, CSUF Psychology student, retail, Fresno, 5'6".

Let's see, what else has been going on?
Oh, Mom discovered my ethnic make-up:
50% Portuguese
25% Italian
11.71875% German
10.9375% English
1.5875% Irish
.78125% Scottish

Awesome, right? lol I never expected the Irish or the Scottish!

A couple of other minor things:
-I've fallen in love with my kickboxing class but haven't gone in a week.
-Won't be joining roller derby until I get health insurance, but I might start practicing skating a little on the sidewalks and such around my Mom and Dad's house.
-I tried on a bunch of my older clothes from when I was a size 18, and even though I'm about 20 pounds heavier than I was the last time I was a size 18, I can fit into them already. This is a good sign!

And now I leave you with a picture of my niece, Madison's super cute profile. She has her mom's adorable nose!
